Another quick read in the Tournament series and I'm already looking for Book 3. The second installation was a bit shorter and took a different cadence, but left me wanting more.
I tore through this book in a matter of days, I literally could not stop reading it. Griffith's talent for thrills is unmatched. You think that the scenes in Blue Fall are memorable, and trust me, they are, but what he depicts in Grey Winter is even better. The writing is so vivid and fluid, it doesn't even take one tiny step for your mind to clearly picture everything going on. I have not yet found an author to match Griffith's pace, it's like a fervor that takes over and you're so enveloped in it you can't believe you've blown through 10 chapters.
Everyone keeps saying that this trilogy is going to be an incredible series of movies - you know why they say that? Because the writing is so incredible. People forget that good movies have to come from even better books. This author's talent is undeniable; Grey Winter is one that will absolutely not disappoint.
The last installment of The Tournament cannot come soon enough. I'll be waiting.
Continued on where the first book left off and answered many questions while keeping the story fresh & entertaining! If you read the first one about blue and liked it you should definately read this one!!!
This book kept me reading. I had a hard time putting it down in order to do other things! I'm going to purchase the next book now!
This series just gets better and better. I will not give any spoiler alerts. Cannot wait to start the 3rd book in this series
I enjoyed this trilogy so much. The characters were realistic and the plot was entrancing. A can't-put-down series. I even worried about them when I was asleep. Highly recommended!
Another great read! The idea of the books are amazing although slightly far-fetched. This was another great read. Now that the world knows, I hope Griffith remains true to the original tournament ideas. Can't wait for the next one!
